Therefore, the more important factor in measuring the performance of the membrane switch is the conduction function of the membrane switch and the reliability of the conductive circuit.
The conduction function of the membrane switch and the reliability of the conductive circuit depend on the use of functional inks and other treatments. The functional inks used in the membrane switch mainly include conductive silver paste, conductive carbon paste, high-performance conductive silver, carbon ink and insulating ink. The conduction function of the membrane switch and the reliability of the conductive circuit are not only related to the quality of the functional ink, but also closely related to the correctness and rationality of the circuit design in the manufacturing process, and the screen making and printing methods.
For example, the thickness of the screen photosensitive material (photosensitive adhesive or photographic film) should be well controlled, because an excessively thick photosensitive layer can cause waste of expensive functional ink and increase manufacturing cost; and an excessively thin photosensitive layer Will seriously affect the conductivity of the membrane switch
The functional ink (silver paste) in the substrate processing membrane switch is printed on the polyester film (PET) by screen printing. Because of the relationship between the characteristics of the silver paste and the PET characteristics, the PET must be made before printing. Treatment to ensure smooth printing and silver paste has strong adhesion on PET
1) Heat setting process The silver paste circuit printed on PET must be heated by a tunnel oven at 150 ° C or oven for about 30 mni to cure. Only the silver paste circuit of this process program has conductivity. In order to prevent PET from shrinking after being subjected to high temperature treatment at 130 °C, PET must be heat-set before printing or directly purchased PETo which has been subjected to heat setting treatment.
2) The surface polarity treatment is treated by corona bombardment or the like to obtain a polar group of the ink-repellent functional ink on the surface of the PET, so that the silver paste has a firm powder-carrying force on the PET.
3) Electrostatic protection treatment Due to the influence of static electricity, the PET surface is very easy to adsorb dust in the air. The anti-static treatment of the PET surface before printing can greatly improve the printing quality and ensure the conductivity of the silver paste circuit.
3 Strict product inspection In the quality inspection of membrane switches, in addition to the color rendering of the ink and the color reproducibility required by the customer, it is more important to pay attention to the inherent quality of the membrane switch, such as button force, life, and stripping.
